1. Who we are
Memory Jigsaw is operated by AdBic Limited (“we”, “us”). The Android app is published on Google Play under the developer name AI Mate Character. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: support@memjig.app.
2. Data we collect and why
| Data | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Sign-in, gift ownership and invites: user ID, email address, display name. | Until you delete your account |
| Gift links | Photo, preview images, headline, names, note, rules, visibility and invited email addresses. | 180 days (2 years on Premium), or until you delete it |
| Leaderboards | Display name, solve time, hints used and a random device key that prevents duplicate entries. | As long as the gift exists |
| AI restore | A reduced copy of the photo, sent for processing. | Result cached up to 7 days |
| Usage counts | Daily limits and rewarded-ad bonuses. | Until you delete your account |
| Subscription | Premium status from Google Play, linked to your user ID. | While subscribed, then as required by law |
| Technical data | IP address and request details, used for security and abuse prevention. | Short-lived server logs |
We do not collect your contacts, location or any files other than the photos you choose.
3. Your photos
Quick restore and puzzles you play yourself are processed only on your device. A photo is sent to our servers only when you create a gift link (the photo, preview images and the text you wrote) or use AI restore (a reduced copy). Public gifts can be opened by anyone with the link. Private gifts can be opened only by the email addresses you invite, after they sign in.
4. Advertising
The free version shows ads served by Google: AdMob in the Android app and Google Ad Manager on the website. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers such as the advertising ID, and a pseudonymous identifier derived from your account to show and measure ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for consent first. Change your choice at any time under Account › Privacy and ad choices. Premium subscribers see no ads. Learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
5. Service providers
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and may store it outside your country, including in the United States, with appropriate safeguards.
6. Your rights and choices
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict some processing. Most of this you can do in the app: edit your name, change gift visibility, delete a gift, change ad choices and delete your account. For anything else, email us from the address on your account. Depending on where you live, you can also complain to your data protection authority. Users in Vietnam have the rights set out in Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection.
7. Deleting your account
Open Account › Delete account and type DELETE. We delete your gift links and their photos, leaderboard entries, usage records and sign-in account. Photos stored only on your phone stay there until you remove them. If you cannot sign in, email us and we will delete your account within 30 days. An active Google Play subscription must be cancelled in Google Play. More about account deletion.
8. Cookies and local storage
The website stores your puzzles and settings in your browser (IndexedDB and local storage) so you can continue later. Sign-in uses Firebase storage in the browser. Advertising cookies are described in section 4.
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Private gift photos are served only after checking the viewer’s verified sign-in. No method of storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
Memory Jigsaw is not directed to children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes and contact
We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. For important changes we will also tell you in the app. Questions: support@memjig.app.
